Product Description

Sodium Hypochlorite Disinfectant Dosing Package
Process Principle

Sodium hypochlorite solution is a light yellow transparent liquid and a strong oxidizing agent, classified as a highly efficient chlorine-containing disinfectant. Its bactericidal effectiveness relies on hypochlorous acid, new ecological oxygen, and chlorination reactions. The oxidation effect of hypochlorous acid serves as the core bactericidal mechanism of chlorine-containing disinfectants.

When chlorine-containing disinfectants dissolve in water, they generate hypochlorous acid, which acts on bacterial proteins. Hypochlorous acid can interact with cell walls and, due to its small molecular size and lack of charge, penetrate cell interiors to destroy bacterial phosphodiesterase through oxidation. This process hinders sugar metabolism and ultimately causes bacterial cell death.

The sterilization capability improves with higher sodium hypochlorite solution concentrations and longer contact times, resulting in enhanced disinfection effectiveness. Sodium hypochlorite dissociates in water to produce hypochlorous acid.

Equipment Introduction

The sodium hypochlorite dosing device features excellent and efficient disinfection properties and includes the following components:

Tanker interface and pipelines
Dosing pump
Blue/PE storage tank
Level gauge
Electric valve
Metering pump
Y-type filter
Safety valve
Back pressure valve
Ball valve
Detection instruments
Electrical control system

Optional instruments include electromagnetic flowmeters and residual chlorine detectors.

In applications with high sodium hypochlorite consumption, tanker transportation is typically employed. After connecting the reagent through quick interfaces, it's transported to the storage tank via the dosing pump. When the system requires reagent addition in automatic mode, the control system receives dosing instruction signals, calculates reagent dosage, and drives the metering pump through the controller to achieve precise, on-demand dosing.

The sodium hypochlorite dosing equipment supports on-site scattered assembly and is also available as complete packaged equipment.
